Tänään tulee kuluneeksi 40 vuotta Ernesto Rafael Guevara de la Sernan (14.06.1928 - 9.10.1967) kuolemasta. Tuo 39-vuotiaana teloitettu Comendante on myyttinen figuuri ja Alberto Kordan hänestä ottama valokuva on luultavasti komistanut useampaa T-paitaa kuin mikään muu foto ennen tai jälkeen.

Alberto Kordan kuuluisa valokuva Che Guevarasta otettiin hautajaisissa maaliskuussa 1960 Kuubassa.Kuvahaku Alberto Korda, tulee ensimmäiselle sivulle nämä Chen kuvat. Kyseessä on siis yksi maapallon tunnetuimmista valokuvista. Enemmistölle kuvasta on tullut tuollainen valtaapitävän luokan mieleinen "logo", osalle Che symbolisoi kapinaa. Che Guevara kirjoitti mm. teoksen Guerrilla Warfare, suomalaisittain sissisota.
